Glen Canyon Communications, Inc. serves the radio communication needs of northern Arizona and the greater Lake Powell area. We are an authorized Verizon Wireless cell phone retailer. We rent and sell marine band radios.

Carl Hutton opened the business in 1959 under the name Kaibab Radio. He supplied radios and telecommunications equipment to contractors on the construction of Glen Canyon Dam. Since then, we have provided Motorola radio sales, service and rentals for Hollywood film productions, the City of Page, and many other northern Arizona businesses and agencies. Glen Canyon Communications is locally owned and operated by Carl’s daughter, Sandi Outlaw, his son Butch Hutton, and owner/technician Dave Tichinel.

Glen Canyon Communications promotes safe boating on Lake Powell. Before you rent a boat, see us about a marine band radio for safety. Hailing frequency on Lake Powell is Ch. 16.
